About

My mission is to tell stories that build empathy across boundaries. We are all human—a united family, and we must strive to understand each other better. Through film, one can experience life in a wholly unique way. Film is communication; film is a shared experience.

From an early age, Daniel loved stories. He ambitiously embarked on writing a fantasy novel in the fourth grade, only to discover a love for photography a short time after.

It didn't take long for him to connect the two—resulting in his ever growing passion for filmmaking. His most recent film, The Hideout, has won multiple awards and screened at film festivals in the U.S. and abroad.

Daniel's stories are drawn from his experience of growing up in a diverse mix of cultural settings such as Russia, England, and the Philippines. His hometown is where he makes it, and he still loves to travel.

A versatile filmmaker, Daniel feels at home wherever he is able to express himself creatively: whether he is pursuing his own story or working hard to realize your dream.
